Due to our continued expansion, we are looking to add to our specialist team whose core activity is the optimisation of the wastewater treatment process. The role is multi-faceted requiring both academic and practical application in the business. Duties include but are not limited to:
-hands on installation and commissioning of wastewater process monitoring equipment
-use of test equipment, writing technical reports, costing and producing draft improvement proposals and quotations
-producing health and safety documentation to support site activities
-communicating regularly with customers in a professional manner to deliver improvement projects on time
A practical, hands-on approach is essential as are good inter-personal skills, PC literacy and the willingness to pick up the phone and liaise regularly with colleagues who may possess differing skills or knowledge.
Working within a small engineering team covering a widespread, mainly UK customer base, the applicant must be flexible both in terms of work duties and location, UK driving license is essential and must be eligible to work in the UK. All other training is provided and previous experience within the industry is not a requirement although the candidate should have a good knowledge of science and engineering with a preference for chemistry or biology.
