The very nature of our business is to help minimise the environmental impact of other businesses, particularly from an energy and carbon perspective but we also seek to ensure we carry out our own business in a sustainable and ethical manner.

We operate within the spirit and letter of the law, maintaining high ethical standards. We seek business relationships with partners who share our values and promote the application of these high standards among those with whom they do business. Legal Compliance

Air Technology follow the law at all times.

Air Technology and their employees understand how these standards and the law apply to their work.

Air Technology shall not require or request that any of their employees or anyone else to violate these standards or any law or regulation.

Wages and Hours

Air Technology comply with all applicable wage and hour laws, including minimum wage, overtime, maximum hour rules, meal and rest periods, and to provide legally mandated benefits. Air Technology operate family friendly policies and encourage a good work-life balance. 

Coercion, Harassment and Discipline

Air Technology treats their employees with dignity and respect.

Air Technology have systems in place to prevent, detect, and resolve unacceptable worker treatment such as harassment, inappropriate use of discipline, discrimination, physical or mental punishment, or other forms of intimidation or abuse (e.g., physical abuse, threat of abuse, sexual or other harassment, verbal abuse, any type of corporal punishment, or other forms of mental and/or physical coercion as a form of discipline).

Discrimination

Discrimination based on race, colour, gender, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, citizenship, disability, veteran status, medical condition (e.g., HIV/AIDS status, pregnancy, etc.), or any other legally protected factor will not be tolerated.

Air Technology do not discriminate in their hiring and employment practices (e.g., pay/promotion) and follow all employment laws. Employment decisions are based on merit, skills, and work experiences.

Health & Safety

Air Technology comply with all applicable health and safety laws, rules, regulations and industry standards.

We are committed to and support the improvement of the health and safety of our operations, employees and the surrounding community.

We take all reasonable and necessary actions to prevent accidents and injuries, and to analyse and minimize health and safety risk exposure.

Environmental Sustainability

Air Technology comply with all applicable environmental laws, rules and regulations. It is our business to help others reduce energy and carbon but we also recognise that we must be responsible for our own environmental stewardship and use resources wisely. We strive to be socially responsible in the use of Company resources for the long-term benefit of society. Our commitments to environmental sustainability are addressed in our Health, Safety and Environmental Policy Statement. 

Gifts, Entertainment and Gratuities

Air Technology’s policy generally prohibits receiving gifts, entertainment or other gratuities from people with whom Air Technology does business, because doing so could imply an obligation on the part of the Company and potentially pose a conflict of interest.

Exempted from this policy are gifts such as t-shirts, pens, trade show bags and the like that employees obtain, as members of the public, at events such as conferences, training events, seminars, and trade shows, that are offered equally to all members of the public attending the event.

Also exempted are food, beverages, and moderately priced meals or tickets to local events that are supplied by and also attended by current customers, partners, and vendors or suppliers in the interest of building positive business relationships.

This moderately priced entertainment is provided as part of a “working” meeting or session to benefit and advance positive working relationships and company interests. These activities are expected to be reciprocated by our company in turn.

Forced Labour, Human Trafficking, & Employment Eligibility

Employment must be voluntarily and freely chosen. We expect our suppliers to verify the legal employment eligibility of employees to work and not use prison labour, indentured or bonded labour, human trafficking, or modern day slavery.

Corporal punishment or other forms of mental and/or physical coercion must not be used.

Employees of suppliers should not be required to lodge deposits or identity papers, or to pay recruitment fees, and should be free to leave their employer after reasonable notice.

Human Rights

Air Technology respects internationally recognized human rights as defined by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Associated Covenants, and the International Labour Organization (ILO) Declaration on the Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work. 

Employee & Data Privacy

Air Technology respects the privacy of our employees as well as others whose personal data has been entrusted to Air Technology.

How your information will be used

We will only take very limited data in order to contact you as part of our work. This will involve contacts details (Name, Position, Company, Address, Phone Number, Email Address). We don't need any personal contact information, so unless you wish to share it with your Air Technology contact we will never ask for it. If you do give it to us it will be treated the same as your company details - we will also remove this at your request.

We will store limited financial data for your organisation to allow us to work with you - this is contained within our accounting/banking software and is heavily protected. Access to this information is severely limited.

We will never share you contact details with any third parties without your explicit consent. In our case this is most likely to be introducing you to related businesses to help you optimise yours.

Information will be stored in our databases indefinitely, or until you choose to be removed.

Removal of your data from our systems

If you wish for your data to be removed from our system you can contact us via a form, and we will remove it.

Requesting a copy of the Information we hold on you

You are legally entitled to request a copy of the information we hold on you, this might include emails/contact details. We reserve the right to charge for this depending on the amount of data - the maximum charge will be £10.
