Process Optimisation Engineer - Wastewater

Due to on-going expansion of the business, an opportunity has arisen for a recent engineering graduate in the role of Process Optimisation Engineer. The role is multi-faceted requiring both academic and practical application in the businesses core activities of the optimisation of compressed air systems and wastewater treatment processes.

Duties are many and varied including hands on installation and commissioning of equipment, assisting senior engineers in site surveys, use of test equipment, writing technical reports, costing and producing draft improvement proposals and quotations, producing health and safety documentation to support site activities and liaising with customers to deliver improvement projects in a timely and professional manner.

The ideal candidate is likely to have a degree in chemical engineering preferably to include a biochemistry module, though consideration will be given to candidates with other qualifications who can demonstrate experience of similar roles within the compressed air or water industries. A practical, hands on approach is essential as are good inter-personal skills and PC literacy. Working within a small engineering team covering a wide spread, mainly UK customer base the candidate must be flexible both in terms of work duties and location and mobility is essential.

Salary and conditions will be commensurate with experience.
